We switched our email platform to Beehiiv last year. One of the reasons we switched is that it gave us the ability to have a “post” tied to each email we sent out. You might be asking yourself why that would be important. It’s nearly impossible to get accurate data with the way that email clients pre-scan and pre-click links, etc. However, even with the stats we have we can see that about 1 in 2 people do not open every single issue of High Proof News that we send. Having the ability to share a link allows people to refer back to it later. As an example, here are the last 3 issues we shipped.

January 12thLooking for something to read? Many of you heard Kenny Letner speak in 2024 and if you missed him, you have an opportunity to hear him in 2025. Kenny just released a book titled “Accidental Real Estate” it is available as both a paperback as well as a hardcover.
Without diving into politics, it is important to still be informed. This week President Trump has moved forward with placing tariffs on goods imported from several countries. The National Association of Home Builders has wrote a letter to the President asking that an exemption be placed for building materials. According to the letter, nearly 25% of all building materials are imported from either Canada or Mexico.
We still have a few topics still to release for Real Estate Distilled, 2025 and one of those topics includes property management.
